When I moved to Hokkaido,
I was very interesting to people who were pulling their child on a sled.
Because I had lived in a place where had little snow, I have never seen such people.
Walking frozen roads with children is dangerous and time-consuming.
So, pulling their child on a sled is a good idea.
The sled is not only applicable to pulling children.
It is also used when people carry heavy baggage like rice in Hokkaido.
These scenes become familiar for me during three years.
However, at one morning, I got an impressive scene.
A mother hurried to a kindergarten with pulling her child on a shed.
And her child was sleeping on a sled although the sled was running on bumpy roads.
I think both are very tough and nature of Hokkaido people are very cute.
